Caitlin & Chris | Darver Castle
Caitlin and Chris’s wedding at Darver Castle was a beautiful, heart-led celebration that put family right at the center of everything. The historic stone walls of the castle provided a warm and intimate setting for a day that felt less like a formal event and more like a big, joyous family reunion.
Because the day was so family-orientated, my focus was on capturing the multi-generational moments, from the kids running around the courtyard to the quiet, emotional interactions between grandparents and the newlyweds. I documented the story in a natural, documentary style, ensuring that the finished gallery reflected the real bonds and the relaxed atmosphere of the day. For their portraits, we kept things simple and stress-free, taking a wander through the castle grounds for some quiet time together before heading back to the heart of the party. It was a day defined by genuine warmth, honest laughter, and the people who matter most.
